Interim Head of Clinical Operations

Michael DeSordi serves as the interim Head of Clinical Operations. Michael is a clinical research professional and brings to the role over 27 years of pharma industry experience. He has held numerous functional and leadership positions in large and small pharma companies and biotech companies across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiopulmonary, and ophthalmology. He began his career at Hoffmann-LaRoche as a Clinical Research Associate and has served in senior leadership roles as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Lux Biosciences, Senior Director of Clinical Operations at GTx, Inc., Interim Vice President of Clinical Operations (Consultant) at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, Inc, and most recently Head of Medical Affairs Operations, Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, Inc.

Michael received his BS in Biology from Seton Hall University and MBA from the University of Phoenix.
