This Privacy Policy applies to data collected by Vigeo through the Platform. This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to our Platform and not to any Web sites which may be linked to our Platform.

Collection of Information

Vigeo may gather certain information automatically that is stored in log files, which does not identify you. For example, we may use Web site analytics tools on our Site to retrieve information from your browser, including the Web site you came from, the search engine and the keywords you used to find our Site, the pages you view within our Site, your browser add-ons, and your browser’s width and height. We may also use technologies, such as cookies and web beacons (described below), to collect information about the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on our Site. Additionally, we collect certain standard information that your browser sends to every Web site you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and language, access times and referring Web site addresses. In general, you can browse the Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself.

Vigeo may also receive personal information from you if you choose to submit your resume to us in response to job postings on the Site. In evaluating your resume we may supplement the personal information you provide to us with information we obtain from other sources, such as public records, demographic information and other background information supplied by information services or third parties as well as information from your use of social networking sites. Your personal information contained in your resume is subject to this Privacy Policy. You agree not to post any false or inaccurate biographical information. There is a risk that your resume may be lost or intercepted by a third party if you submit it to us through the Site. We cannot be held responsible for any loss arising from the transmission or use of resumes obtained through the Site. In addition, we may contract with a third party service provider to host the resume submission page. Personal information that you submit to us via the Site will be maintained on servers located in the United States. If you do not consent to having your personal information processed and stored in the United States, please do not provide it to us.

Vigeo collects and uses information to operate and improve its Platform, its products and services. These uses may include providing you with more effective customer service; making the Platform or services easier to use; performing research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies; and displaying content and advertising that are customized to your interests and preferences.

We reserve the right to disclose any personal information provided to us as required by law, when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights; to protect the rights, property or safety of other persons; to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on us or the Site; or to a potential or actual acquiror who purchases Vigeo or the assets to which such information pertains. We may also disclose personal information in accordance with any notice provided to you at the time such information is collected, or as you otherwise authorize.

This Privacy Policy places no restriction on the use of non-personal information we collect from your visit, or de-identified or aggregated information. We will not treat as confidential any information that you provide that is not personal, such as questions, comments, ideas or suggestions. You should be aware that we will be free to disclose through any means and use for any purpose such information in our sole discretion. By providing such information to us, you understand and agree that no relationship has been created between us and you, and Vigeo has no obligation to you whatsoever regarding that information.

You may view, correct or delete personal information that we may maintain about you by contacting us. However, even if you delete or change your personal information, it may still be stored on other databases, including those kept for archival purposes. Should you elect to delete your personal information, it cannot be used by us or disclosed to third parties in the future unless required by law. Please also note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements).

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure or error-free, and we cannot guarantee its complete security.

Use of Web Beacons

The Site may contain electronic images known as Web beacons – sometimes called single-pixel gifs – that may be used to allow us to count users who have visited pages on the Site. Vigeo may also employ Web beacons from third parties in order to help us compile aggregated statistics regarding the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns or other operation of our Site.

Finally, we may work with other companies that advertise on our Site to place Web beacons on their Web sites in order to allow us to develop statistics on how often clicking on an advertisement on our Site results in a purchase or other action on the advertiser’s Web site.

Online Privacy for Children

The Site is intended for users over the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If a child has provided us with personal information, the parent or guardian of the child may contact us, and we will take steps to remove such information.
